As a composer, Liam Dumaine (he/him) aims to capture a wide range of emotions across a wide range of instrumentations. He is inspired by nature, literature, visual art, and the human condition. As a performer, Liam values new music that explores the full range of sounds and techniques that percussion has to offer. As both a composer and performer, he is excited by collaboration with other artists and by the potential of the new music world. He is constantly seeking out new projects and branching out into new areas of the music world.
Liam is currently studying percussion and composition at Appalachian State University. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing video games, and crocheting. He is passionate about issues involving human rights and environmental protections. His past hair colors include: red, black, red and black, purple and yellow, green and purple, green and black, green.
